The 30th Annual Bridge to Bridge 3km Swim will this year be held inconjunction with the Berry Rickard's event. The swim will start at 3pm and is expected to finish by 5.30pm.

First started in 1980 as part of Penrith Council's Australia Day activities. This event has only been cancelled once due to flooding of the Nepean River. Over the years this event has been held either in the Nepean River or at the Regatta Centre and this year the venue is once again the Regatta Centre. Many famous Open Water swimmers such as Susie Maroney and Shelley Taylor-Smith have swum this event. It is a great race for an introduction into Open Water Swimming for all the family, with Dad and Mum swimming alongside their child/children.
