The spectator pavilion, which offers views over the competition lake, was completed in October 1997, with seating facilities for 1000 spectators.

Timber, including recycled blackbutt and spotted gum is used extensivley throughout.

Accessible features such as hearing loops, tactile ground surface indicators, ramps and fully accessible toilets cater for groups with special needs.
